Internships and Experiential Education

  • SUNY Potsdam's Internship Program is an academic program where students work/intern at companies related to their academic majors.
  • Student interns can receive 1-12 credits towards their degree requirements.
  • The internship can be paid or unpaid.
  • A SUNY Potsdam faculty member will sponsor each intern with the responsibilities of the academic component and awarding a final grade.

"The Honors Program provides me with a chance to extend who I am… both on a personal and a professional level… As a student in the Honors Program, my senior year will culminate with a collaborative project with my faculty advisor Dr. Jan Trybula. I plan to create a biology lab manual that I hope to use for my classes when I begin teaching.”
